Seating Chart Planner

Add your tables, add your guests, then give each guest a table from the dropdown. Seat counts update as you go, any table that goes over its seats is flagged, and the print view gives you a clean list per table. Free, and saved in your browser.

Quick example: Three prefilled tables of 8 and six sample guests — assign the two unassigned guests and watch the counts and the unassigned total change.

How it works

Keep groups together by assigning table by table. A count like “3 / 8 seats” means 3 guests assigned of 8 seats; a table over its seats is shown in red. Anyone still set to Unassigned is counted at the top of the guest list, so aim for zero before the day.

Frequently asked questions

How many guests fit at a table?

Most round wedding tables seat 8–10 comfortably. Enter the real seat count for each of your tables and the planner flags any table you overfill.

Can I print a list for the venue?

Yes. The Table lists section always shows who is at each table — print this page and hand it to your venue or planner.

Does the plan save?

Yes, in this browser's local storage under the seating planner, so you can close the page and come back to the same plan.

What if a guest has not replied yet?

Add them anyway and leave them Unassigned, or assign a likely table — the unassigned count keeps track of decisions still to make.

Please check before you print or share. This planner tracks the names and tables you type only — confirm final numbers, meals and accessibility needs with your venue before the day.
